This policy covers both the GS App web app (a Progressive Web App available at salesapp.wozserv.com) and the GS App for iOS (a native iPhone and iPad app). Where the two versions differ, this policy says so explicitly.
All of your sale data — parties, inventory, transactions, and settings — is stored only on your device. No account is required to use GS App. Wozserv does not have access to your sale data unless you explicitly choose to link with GS Registry (see below).
GS App stores the following locally on your device only. On the web app this lives in your browser's local storage; on iOS it is stored in the app's private local storage (UserDefaults). Either way, it stays on your device:
This data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself via Settings, or — on the web app — back it up to your own Google Drive (see below).
The web app offers an optional backup to your personal Google Drive. The iOS app does not include Google Sign-in or Google Drive backup.
If you use the Drive backup on the web, your app data is written directly to your own Google Drive account. Wozserv does not receive, store, or have access to that data — it goes to Google's servers under your Google account and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
When you sign in with Google on the web, GS App receives your Google profile information (name, email address, and profile picture). This information is used solely to display your account details to you within the app on your device. Your Google account information is never transmitted to, recorded by, or stored on any Wozserv servers. It exists only in your browser's local storage and is cleared when you sign out.
The iOS app offers a Pro upgrade (GS App Pro) as a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Wozserv does not collect or store any payment information. Purchases are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The web app does not include in-app purchases.
Both the web and iOS apps optionally collect anonymous usage data to understand which features are used most and find bugs faster. This is opt-in — you will be asked on first launch and can change your choice any time in Settings.
If you allow analytics, the following is collected:
Never collected: item names, seller names, prices, payment amounts, or any personally identifying information.
Analytics data is sent to and stored on wozserv infrastructure (AWS) and used solely for improving GS App. It is not shared with or sold to any third party.
Both the web and iOS apps support optional linking to a GS Registry listing so buyers can browse your live inventory. If you use this feature, a limited subset of your data is shared with GS Registry:
This data is stored on wozserv servers and is subject to the GS Registry Privacy Policy. No other GS App data (transactions, settings, party names) is shared.
If you contact us through the Support page, we collect your name and email address solely to respond to your inquiry. This information is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties.
We do not use advertising networks, marketing trackers, or any third-party analytics services.
